Summer Opera Lyric Theatre 2026 Season
The SOLT Workshop will be held at The Edward Jackman Centre from June 7th to July 16th, 2026 for staging rehearsals
and from July 17th to August 2nd, 2026 for Dress Rehearsals and Performances at the Alumnae Theatre in Toronto.

Online auditions will be accepted until : January 30, 2026 no later than 11:59pm
Auditions can be submitted via online form by clicking the button in this page (available soon).
Participation in Summer Opera Lyric Theatre Master Classes and workshop is achieved through an assigned role in one or more of the operas selected for the workshop.
All artists will prepare and memorize the assigned role prior so as to better make use of the workshop's dramatic and music interpretation in rehearsals, lectures and master classes.
The 2026 opera workshop culminates in a series of public performances which are intended to showcase the artists and their work.

Audition Requirements
Please prepare 3 contrasting arias from the SOLT 2026 repertoire or comparable material. One choice must be a contemporary English aria.
